Success!

Our WalkAmerica fundraising effort was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who so generously donated, we were able to raise $2,613.00 for the March of Dimes to help in the fight against prematurity.

We had perfect weather, in the 60s and mostly sunny. The girls were absolute angels and didn't complain once. They loved being out in the fresh air with so much to look at and listen to. All in all, it was a wonderful day and we look forward to doing it again next year!

Billie,

I finally got around to reading your amazing story (yes, from the very first post until the last). You left a message on my son Eli's website a few weeks ago and you guys have been through a lot in the past almost 2 years. Eden and Holly are adorable and such fighters. Congrats on raising so much money for the MOD. We had our walk this morning and it was wonderful. I may try and e-mail you in a few days if that is alright b/c Eli will be getting an MRI soon to check for PVL and other abnormalities. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful girls with us. They are an inspiration.

Billie, what a great, huge group of love and friends and family that joined you for the MOD walk! Wow, on our walk it was just my hubby and I. Congratulations on the great fund-raising effort. Next year I'll try for more (and longer, as I only decided to walk 2 weeks beforehand). Liz
