Twin girls H & E were born prematurely at 24 weeks 3 days gestation in the summer of 2004. At birth H was 1 lb 3.5 oz, 11.5", E 1 lb 5.5 oz, 12". This is their story...

I am just wondering, was Eden's Hearing loss caused by her early birth?

Yes it was, most likely a result of the ototoxic antibiotics she was on to prevent/treat infection.

they look so much alike in those pictures. how fast time flies!
The same reason as my hearing loss. My deafness is possibly caused by ototoxic drugs. My twin sister is not deaf.
They are so very precious. Thank you for everything you are pouring in to their lives. You are a wonderful mama and an inspiration. :)
