Twin girls H & E were born prematurely at 24 weeks 3 days gestation in the summer of 2004. At birth H was 1 lb 3.5 oz, 11.5", E 1 lb 5.5 oz, 12". This is their story...
Very cute! Quick question...the yellow chair in the pics..what kind of chair is it? where can it be purchased. I have twins, one with CP and cant sit independently and we are always looking for something to help her sit so she can be in the floor with her sister.
Jenn, The yellow chair is actually a potty chair that can attach to the toilet seat, but we just use it as a floor sitter and it is perfect!!! Unfortunately, it is made by the company Swereco, and they don't make that exact one anymore. If you check their website, you'll see a different one. I haven't tried the new one yet, so I don't know if it's quite as good.
Hey, i haven't commented in a while but way to go Eden; from previous post!! She is doing awesome, I am very happy to see her progress!! I do have a question, is there any way you could email me the pasta recipe Holland loves, you mentioned it was like ground beef, pasta, butter, olive oil and a few more things? email = skmsnows@yahoo.com thank you!!
They are just adorable and the way Eden's face lights up when she smiles just makes my heart dance. Holland has that hidden smile of hers stashed away somewhere.

These pictures reminded me of this story my mother used to tell us children:
A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell". They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, "I don't understand." "It is simple," said the Lord, "it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."
