Twin girls H & E were born prematurely at 24 weeks 3 days gestation in the summer of 2004. At birth H was 1 lb 3.5 oz, 11.5", E 1 lb 5.5 oz, 12". This is their story...
We here down under (in the summer heat and ridiculous humidity) are insanely jealous - especially those whose kids have never even seen snow (can I please FedEx my 7 y.o. to you for a week??)
wait now where do you live? I wish we would get snow like that! I love the snowwoman, the dog and I TOTALLY love the snow fort! Oh i would love to build a snow fort! Looks like the girls and your huspand had fun in it.
You guys are so creative! That is the coolest fort ever. I loved reading the update on your girls. I have twin boys and I think you're right that they sometimes define themselves in relation to the other (one picks red and the other blue etc). Your girls are growing up so beautifully. You are a great mom and an excellent, honest, smart, funny blog writer.
I just discovered your blog and have just finished reading it from start to finish, phew! I have to say your daughters are gorgeous and you are both amazing and very inspirational parents! I also enjoyed reading it from a medical point of view since I'm going to be a doctor in 4-5 years...I've mentally noted the comments you made about doctors, such as them giving you credit for all the hard work you put into your daughters' healthcare; and co-ordinating interruptions during the night in hospital! Keep up the great work and I look forward to reading future blogs about Holland and Eden's progress :) Much love all the way from England, Faye xxx
Who knew you could have that much fun with snow? The dog has me captivated.
ReplyDeleteHoly cr*p, that snow fort is scary AWESOME!!

Oh my gosh - you guys are snow artisans! No simple Frostys for you! I've also wanted to make a snow fort/igloo... Your kids are soooo lucky.
