We're Working On It

The girls worked on feeding themselves with a spoon this weekend. They are pretty good at it, especially considering that I rarely let them try cause I don't like cleaning up the mess!

  1. They appear to be champs at it! It looks like you may not be at home here so better yet, let them mess up someone else's floor!

  2. Hi Billie,
I remember those sticky floor days and I too didn't like cleaning up the mess, BUT, these days are few so stick a newspaper under their chairs and let em have at it!!
    Love and big smooches,
    Mamma Jules

P.S. Eden appears to be having a blast at it!!

  3. How cute is that! I remember my girls learning to use a spoon...wild times. Kelsey ALWAYS makes a mess. Even now. LOL
    Have fun.

  4. I don't even know at what age you are supposed to start this, but I dread it already. The mess, the time...ugh.

However, I must say, your girls look really, really happy trying their hand at feeding themselves.

  7. I remember those messy eating times. But my kitchen floors were cleaner then than now because I was constantly mopping sticky spots. Oddly enough, I miss those days! But only on rare occasions. God bless you. Connie Wilhoite

  8. You know my twins didn't get to hold the spoon 'till they were 5, and only then because I had to feed the baby:)

  9. omg, Your babies are getting cutier and cutier. I have been following your post. I have found that bath time has become a fixed operative after feeding, that way we can just let it ride at dinner time:)
