@Anonymous-This blog isn't about YOU and if you are anon, you probably haven't been reading for years.

Billie-So good to see a pic of the girls! Hope you are having a good summer and looking forward to a longer update when you have time.

Actually, I have been reading for years and I love this family. I just wish Billie would be more considerate. If she wants to maintain a viewership, she needs to provide more content.

@Anonymous: what is this complaining about? She posts when she can, for those who care about what happens to her family.

I am sure Billie is delighted to have friends and readers from all over the world. But that is not why she posts (if I am being presumptious, Billie, please put me in my place!). She posts for three very important reasons:

1) it helps her chronicle her family's journey through life,
2) it helps her keep in touch with friends and family, and
3) it shows other families with kids with disabilities some of the challenges to expect -- what some of the issues will be.

I have followed her posts since my daughter was unexpectedly born almost five years ago, at 25 weeks. In the first few months, I took great comfort in reading the progress of Holland and Eden. Disability is a scary, dark shadow, but H & E are anything but scary. The life Billie shows is concrete and real -- not perfect, but so much better than the nameless fear some of us have to face when our child is born at risk.

Hey old roomie ;) the girls are looking terrific. Glad life is treating you well! If you are in GR feel to look me up. I'm a proud mom now of a 17 week old named Ian. He is cute as all heck. Take care Billie

it doesn't have to be a lot, just a picture or a few sentences every couple days. i know a family who is dealing with a child fighting brain cancer, and they still manage to tweet and update their caringbridge every few hours. billie is soooooo low tech.

Anonymous, you are a troll. Everyone else who knows better, stop engaging him/her.

yeah wtf u don't even update your caringbridge anymore!! plus there are a stack of boxes in the garage waiting to be unpacked WTF!!! at a minimum you should be providing us with tweets "every few hours". shame on you billie. shame on you and your beautiful family :(

she can't provide any of those three reasons if she doesn't post anything. when her girls are 20 and reading back through the blog, they will want details, but that is a place billie has failed.
