Power Outage

The power went out when I was putting the lights on the Christmas tree Saturday night. So far we haven't been able to figure it out. The computer room is on the same circuit, so we are without internet access at home. The pictures will also be down until we can get things working again.

So sad... A whole day without pictures of my girls... How will any of us make it through the day???

So, I have this vision in my head of the "Griswald Family Christmas" - you know where Chevy Chase hangs a zillion lights and then they don't work. You did check the breaker, right John? Can't wait to see new pics! Much love, Jess

We had the same thing happen at our house; we found out that the problem was a plug in the hallway was a GFI plug and we didn't realize that the center button of the plug was pushed in and turned off the power to half of our basement..even tho the breaker showed on. I don't know if this helps; but I thought I would share just in case it could help you!!

Nice suggestion with the GFI Kacy. I heard that happens a lot. Turns out my brilliant electrician/father-in-law figured out that the wiring of one of our outlets got fried (prob from that power hogging x-mas tree) and broke the circuit. So all fixed now. Thx Pop!
